december views: perspective

IMG_3600 nightime stroll through chinatown, san francisco.

it's all moon cakes, firecrackers, inner-blossom tea and lantern glow. enjoying the out-of-focus moments and paying attention to how subtle the shifts can be when we are away, together.

there is beauty everywhere, but we must choose to let it in. and it cannot always be captured in detail.

as the new year approaches, i am more and more aware that, while setting intentions is important, what serves me more is to view each day as a living prayer.

conscious. forgiving. believing.

one breath, one fortune, at a time.
