it doesn’t much matter if i am cashmere and you are lace, if i am adobe and you are marble.

what matters is that we know what we are.

if that smooth bark of the eucalyptus tree gives you insight, then it belongs with you.

and the more we surround ourselves by the shapes, the textures, the patterns, the light, the places, and the people that our hearts innately grasp toward, the more we are guided in, the more we are brought back home.

it is not about accumulating, it is about recognizing and eliminating what does not speak the truth.

it is about our senses in action, in response, in communication, consciously, with our depth.

if it really is all energy, which i believe it is, then of course this scent, this view, this season, this warm cup, this song, this flavor, and the weave of this fabric matter.

these objects and elements show me who i am, help me to relax inside, open doorways into my fullness, and help me to better express myself.

and the more i know who i am, the more i can connect to who you are. our separation, our suffering, diminishes.

there is legitimacy in your longing. i have said it before. and it keeps coming back.

Don’t share borrowed insights, there is no transmission in that.
Only share experiential insights. Real teachers practice, transmitting the formless into form.

it is time to share what i have to offer. it is time to act and believe in the entitlement to beauty and connection that is mine, and yours, to thrive in. it is time for me to offer my perceptions into the art of living, into the choice of language, imagery, and experience, to help you better articulate who you are and what you do.

this past year for me has been about wanderlust turned inward. about embodiment and knowing. about home and gratitude. about seeing myself and about seeing the immediate world around me. it has been about creating beauty, nurturing, forgiving, slowing, and allowing. about surrender and claiming. about inviting and dreaming.

i have integrated my lifetime of inner and outer travels, and broadened my understanding of who i am and what it is that i am here to do.

what i am ready to offer is an expanded opportunity for you to be seen and experienced in the way that i have always known how to do. i want to offer you my vision of you, in language and in imagery, to enhance your vision of yourself. i will give you words and pictures that help you to see and to share what it is that you have to offer. a personal narrative born of  time we spend together.

doorways consulting sessions will be explained in full detail and made available for scheduling on this site soon. meanwhile, i am eager to expand my gift for making friends, connections, into a service. i love nothing more than really seeing someone–tastes, talents, beauty, passions, pain–in truth and transparency. i am able to capture essence, and to translate it back in a visual and language narrative, so that others can see, and understand, who you are.

i would love your feedback, your curiosity, your interest. like so many, it has taken me four decades to really know and understand the full scope of what it is that i am good at–and what it is that i most want to do. the next big leap is to open my mouth and heart, and to share.
